Recinto es uno de los pocos en Chile que está dedicado a resguardar el patrimonio deportivo comunal.
Historias, medallas, trofeos, fotografías y artículos periodísticos, forman parte de las memorias deportivas de la ciudad de Rengo, en la región de O’higgins, que ahora, gracias a las actividades de difusión del Museo del Deporte comunal, los vecinos, autoridades y turistas, podrán conocer y revivir las grandes hazañas de los atletas locales. La presentación será este sábado 26 de febrero a las 9 de la mañana, en calle Condell #535, Rengo.
Gracias a la gestión del Consejo Local de Deportes de Rengo (COLODEP), se logró recopilar una interesante colección de camisetas, trofeos, medallas, imágenes y recuerdos de los momentos más importantes del deporte comunal. Al respecto, Luis Pavéz, destacado dirigente deportivo, expresó que “hoy estamos generando actividades para fortalecer algo que parecía un sueño: tener nuestro propio Museo del Deporte. Con mucho esfuerzo y el apoyo de las autoridades, podemos exhibir el patrimonio deportivo de quienes han llevado el nombre de Rengo a lo más alto a nivel mundial”.
Programa de Lanzamiento
Este sábado 26 de febrero a las 9 de la mañana, se dará inicio a la inauguración del Museo del Deporte de Rengo, mediante un programa cultural de primer nivel para la región. A esa hora, los escritores Andrés Santa María y Jerónimo Parada, presentarán la saga literaria “Pelota Sudaca”y “Pelota Cosaca”, ejemplares que hablan sobre la importancia del fútbol en latinoamérica y europa.
Posteriormente, a las 10 horas, el reconocido periodista Cristian Arcos, presenta su libro “Héroes” de Editorial Planeta, donde cuenta la historia de personajes olvidados pero muy relevantes para la historia futbolística de nuestro país. A las 11 horas, el reportero José Antonio Lizana, dictará una charla sobre la “Historia del Deporte Chileno”, con los hitos más importantes de nuestra memoria deportiva. A las 12:30 horas, será el turno de la ex maratonista Erika Olivera, quién versará una charla motivacional sobre el deporte como herramienta de integración social.
La actividad estará moderada por el periodista, magíster en comunicación estratégica, Gabriel Bajo Valdivia, quién será el encargado de liderar estos conversatorios y hacer participar a la comunidad. La actividad de carácter gratuita y presencial, es organizada por el Consejo Local de Deportes, organización que invita a la comunidad a asistir a calle Condell #535, en la ciudad de Rengo. Los dirigentes esperan que esta sea una instancia para que vecinos, estudiantes y profesores, puedan conocer el lugar, motivarse por el deporte y adquirir los valores de la sana competencia.
